The kind of summer you remember

A Traditional Cape May Family Vacation

Rocking chairs, screen doors, and a beach a block away. Rent one home or book both, and keep the whole family on a single block in historic Cape May.

There is a kind of family vacation that lives in memory more than on a calendar. Cousins claiming the bunk room, grandparents holding down the porch, a screen door clapping shut all afternoon and the salt air drifting up from a beach just a block away. That is the week Cape May was built for, and it is the week our two homes were made to hold.

Sea Foam Manor and Azure Estate sit side by side at 1027 and 1029 New Jersey Avenue, two traditional Victorian shore homes one block from the sand. Take one for your family, or book both and put three generations under two roofs on the same block. No resort, no high-rise, no run-around. Just an old-fashioned summer at the shore.

Two homes, one block

Room for everyone, and then some.

Rent one home, or combine both next-door homes and sleep as many as thirty-six.

Sea Foam Manor

Eight bedrooms, four full baths, sleeps twenty. Double wraparound porches and a library and games room for the rainy afternoon. Explore the home.

Azure Estate

Seven bedrooms, four full baths, sleeps eighteen. Stacked stone-front porches, clawfoot tubs and a different color in every room. Explore the home.

Both, combined

Fifteen bedrooms and room for up to thirty-six guests across two homes next door to one another. The rare setup that can hold an entire extended family on one block.

Why families come back

Built for a crowd, the traditional way.

Porches made for doing nothing

Two levels of covered porch at each home, lined with rocking chairs. This is where most of the week actually happens, between the beach and dinner.

A kitchen that feeds everyone

Two full-size refrigerators in each home and a dining room that seats the whole family, so one big Sunday-style dinner every night is no trouble at all.

One block to the sand

No driving, no shuttle. Walk to a clean, gently sloping beach, then walk home and rinse off under the outdoor shower.

Off-street parking for the caravan

A genuine Cape May rarity: six off-street spaces at Sea Foam Manor, five at Azure Estate. No circling for a spot all week.

Room for every generation

Quiet bedrooms upstairs for the after-beach nap, bunk rooms for the kids, and a games room and library for the in-between hours.

Everything a short stroll away

The Washington Street Mall, ice cream and fudge, Victorian house tours and the lighthouse are all close enough to fold into a slow day.

A week, planned for a family

More to do than a week can hold.

Beach mornings

Cape May's beaches are a one-block walk away. Mornings are for shelling and hunting the famous Cape May diamonds; afternoons for umbrellas, boogie boards and the surf.

Climb the lighthouse

Climb the 1859 Cape May Lighthouse at Cape May Point State Park for a view of the whole peninsula, then explore the dunes, trails and the old WWII tower on the beach.

A free day at the zoo

The Cape May County Park & Zoo is free and open daily, an easy and affordable outing for the whole family on a day off the sand.

Stroll the historic district

Walk the Washington Street Mall for shops, fudge and ice cream, or take a Victorian trolley tour to hear the stories behind the gingerbread.

Sunset on the bay

Drive out to Sunset Beach for the daily flag-lowering ceremony and the sunset over Delaware Bay, with the wreck of the concrete ship just offshore.

Dinner, the easy way

With two kitchens and two dining rooms you can cook for the crowd at home, or walk into town for fresh seafood and a genuine food scene.

Booking a reunion?

The two homes are next door to one another, which makes them ideal for a family reunion, a milestone birthday, or any week when one house simply is not enough. Book both for the same week and the whole family shares a single block: meals together, kids back and forth between porches, and everyone still with a quiet room of their own at the end of the day.

The simplest way to plan it is a quick call to Wayne, the owner. He will check availability and pricing for both homes for your dates personally, with no broker fee and no call center in between.

Book direct with the owner

Book both homes. Keep the whole family on one block.

Hi, I'm Wayne, the owner of both Sea Foam Manor and Azure Estate here on New Jersey Avenue. Call me directly and I'll personally check availability and pricing for your dates. No call center, no run-around, just a quick conversation about your week at the shore.

One tap to call. No fee, no middleman.
