What is Cape May Traditions?
Cape May Traditions is a pair of traditional Victorian beach homes that sit side by side at 1027 and 1029 New Jersey Avenue in Cape May, New Jersey: Sea Foam Manor and Azure Estate. Both are owned by Wayne and rent one block from the beach, individually or together.
How many people do the homes sleep?
Sea Foam Manor sleeps up to 20 guests across eight bedrooms and four full baths. Azure Estate next door sleeps up to 18 across seven bedrooms and four full baths. Because they are next door to one another, the two homes can be combined to host as many as 36 people, which makes them ideal for large families and multi-family reunions.
Can I rent both homes together?
Yes. Sea Foam Manor and Azure Estate are immediately next door at 1027 and 1029 New Jersey Avenue, so many families book both for the same week and keep the whole group on a single block. Together they sleep up to 36. Ask the owner about availability for both homes on your dates.
Where are the homes located?
Both homes are on New Jersey Avenue in Cape May, New Jersey, just one block from the beach in the heart of America's oldest seaside resort. You are within easy walking distance of the sand, the Washington Street Mall, and Cape May's famous Victorian historic district.
What makes the homes feel "traditional"?
Both are authentic Cape May Victorians with double stacked porches, rocking chairs, formal dining rooms and original period details like clawfoot tubs and a stained-glass seahorse door. They keep the unhurried, timeless character of a turn-of-the-century shore home while staying genuinely comfortable and livable, not a museum of fragile antiques.
Are the homes updated with modern amenities?
Yes. Alongside their traditional charm, both homes offer central air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, full kitchens with two refrigerators each, washers and dryers, cable televisions, gas grills and outdoor showers.
What are the rates?
Summer weeks generally run from $6,500 to $9,500, booked Saturday to Saturday, with Azure Estate weeks starting around $7,000. Off-season nightly stays start at $1,750 with a two to three night minimum. Exact pricing depends on the home, the week and the season.

Is there parking?
Yes. Sea Foam Manor includes six off-street parking spaces and Azure Estate includes five, which is rare and valuable in Cape May during the busy summer season.
Are pets allowed?
No. Both homes are non-smoking, and pets are not permitted at either Sea Foam Manor or Azure Estate.
When are check-in and check-out?
During the summer season, weekly rentals run Saturday to Saturday, with check-in at 3:00 PM and check-out at 10:00 AM. Off-season stays are more flexible.
What is included with the homes?
Linens and blankets are provided. Each kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dinnerware and small appliances, and each home includes a washer and dryer, beach-house porches with rocking chairs, and a private yard with a gas grill and an outdoor shower.
